The Jena Band of Choctaw Indians is taking applications for a General Maintenance Worker. The position is responsible for performing repairs for assigned equipment and facilities including plumbing, electrical, basic carpentry, heating and cooling, and other building systems. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. JBCI offers an attractive benefits package.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be able to work independently.
Must be able to manage multiple tasks and meet
deadlines.
Ability to occasionally travel, work irregular hours, and be on call.
Knowledge of or willingness to learn Native American History, Heritage, and Customs.

The Jena Band of Choctaw Indians is taking applications for a part-time custodian. The ideal candidate will have various skills and knowledge in housekeeping, good communication, ability to follow directions, and work well with others. The candidate will pay attention to detail. This job requires a certain level of physical strength.
EXPERIENCE / EDUCATION
High School Diploma / Hi-SET Equivalency, experience in keeping housing keeping tasks and protocols, and proper use of cleaning agents. To perform this job well, and individual should have or be able to learn technology skills and programs as needed.
